SharePoint Classifier allows for bulk check in of documents when indexing multiple documents, including the option to choose different versions and add comments. Users can even bulk approve and reject document of list items with content approval features provided with SharePoint 2010. Multi-document management goes even further with the ability to bulk tag with the social tagging features introduced with SharePoint 2010. Tags can even be shared and used by enterprises to ensure compliance with industry or government standards. Administrators and users can also bulk copy and move list items and documents between SharePoint lists or libraries. During data migration item permissions, version histories, attachments and authors and timestamps can be preserved.
Within SharePoint Classifier, a virtual clipboard automatically maps the source fields and destination fields in the background and assists users to migrate items, files and folders. SharePoint Classifier has a unique auto numbering feature that can be used to identify and classify any document.
